Our 30A Story
At the heart of 30A Roasters and Kith + Kin Coffee is a passion for people, community, and, of course, an exceptional cup of coffee.
For Lance and Nicki Miller, coffee isn’t just about caffeine—it’s about connection. Their journey into the world of specialty coffee started with Fuse Coffee in Troy, Alabama, where they built more than just a coffee shop; they built a gathering place. A place where neighbors became friends, and every cup carried a story.
But the Millers wanted to go deeper. They wanted to craft coffee from the source—sourcing, roasting, and curating the finest beans in a way that honored both the land and the hands that grew them. That vision led them to Santa Rosa Beach, where 30A Roasters was born.
From Roastery to Coffeehouse
Roasting great coffee was only part of the dream. Lance and Nicki wanted a space where people could experience the soul of their coffee in a welcoming, down-to-earth environment. That’s how Kith & Kin Coffee came to life.
More than just a café, Kith & Kin is a reflection of its name—a place for friends, family, and community to gather over something simple, yet meaningful: a great cup of coffee. Whether you’re a local or a visitor soaking in the beauty of 30A, you’re always welcome here.
More Than Coffee
For Lance and Nicki, coffee is more than a business—it’s a way to connect, support, and uplift. It’s about ensuring that the people behind every bean—whether on a family farm in Guatemala or behind the bar at Kith & Kin—are valued and supported. It’s about sustainability, quality, and a deep love for the craft.
So whether you’re sipping a smooth, nutty Vietnamese brew, a bright and fruity Guatemalan roast, or a rich, chocolatey Tanzanian cup, know that every sip is part of a bigger story—one of people, passion, and purpose.
Welcome to the 30A Roasters and Kith & Kin family. We’re honored to share our journey—and our coffee—with you.
